Freya features 78 highly affordable market-rate apartment homes and two storefront commercial spaces. These compact studio apartments feature hardwood style flooring, a kitchenette with marble counters and custom cabinetry, and a private bathroom. The project sets itself apart from earlier micro projects in its generous common spaces and thoughtful design meant to encourage meaningful engagement among residents. Each floor offers residents a huge and luxurious lounge and chef’s kitchen, where residents meet for meals and community events. The building boasts a fitness center, a deck with a gas fire pit, and indoor bike storage.
Hamilton Urban Partners partnered with Neiman Taber Architects on this project from inception, with HUP leading the development process and NTA heading up the design. Pacific Continental Construction, an affiliate of Hamilton Urban Partners, was the project’s general contractor.
