Air Apartments features 8 spacious 2-bedroom apartment homes in Seattle’s Sandpoint neighborhood. Seattle’s extensive Burke Gilman trail and Lake Washington beach access at Mathews beach are just a short walk from the property. Project Scope:

Hamilton Urban Partners reimagined the building which hadn’t seen any substantial updates since its 1967 construction. The property was rebranded Air Apartments in a nod to the nearby historic Sandpoint Airbase which hosted rare Pan Am commercial seaplanes and the first circumnavigation of the globe by air. To modernize its look, the team added corrugated metal accents, a contemporary color scheme and a handsome suspended steel entry roof. The decks were rebuilt, and a modern railing system was installed for safety and cosmetic reasons. Units were completely renovated with all new flooring, countertops, appliances, paint and fixtures. Finally, tuck under carports were converted to garages with electric door openers.
